Tariff Booking Policy - please note we are not pet friendly

TARIFF BOOKINGS

 

  • No booking can be accepted unless a deposit of the first night of accommodation is paid.
  • The balance for bookings during any off-peak season is due 7 days prior to arrival.
  • All bookings during peak periods will need to be paid in full 30 days prior to arrival.
  • Final balances will automatically be processed on the due day. Email notification will be sent prior
  • Failure to pay within this time will result in late fees being applied and cancellation of your booking.
  • Reservation staff will not "hold" bookings for any reason.
  • Bookings for school holidays and peak periods can only be taken a maximum of 12 months in advance

 

AFTER HOUR ARRIVALS

  • Any guests (member or non-member) that will be arriving after hours must have any outstanding balances paid in full in order to leave their key out for collection.

CANCELLATIONS/ REFUNDS:

  • For tariff bookings in OFF PEAK seasons: If a reservation is cancelled within 7 days of your arrival date all payments will be forfeited. An administration fee of $100 applies if a reservation is cancelled more than 7 days from arrival date.
  • For tariff bookings in PEAK seasons: If a reservation is cancelled within 30 days of your arrival date all payments will be forfeited. An administration fee of $100 applies if a reservation is cancelled more than 30 days prior from arrival date.
  • Refunds are not available for early departures, no shows or where guests are asked to leave the resort.

SPECIAL REQUESTS:

  • Any special requests have been noted and we will endeavour to fulfil as many as possible. Please note that all requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

Tariff Booking Policy

Payment / Cancellation / Refunds

  • Payment for off peak-period bookings are due 7 days prior to arrival.
  • Payment for peak-period bookings are due 30 days prior to arrival.
  • Cancellation up to 7 days (during off peak periods) or 30 days (during peak periods) will incur a cancellation fee of $100.
  • Cancellation within those 7 or 30 days will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the booking cost.
  • Failure to make these payments on time will incur a late fee of $10 per day up until two weeks prior to arrival during peak periods. Any booking not paid in full within this time frame will be cancelled.
  • Refunds are not available for early departures, no shows or where guests are asked to leave the resort for breaching resort rules.
  • Resort management reserves the right to cancel or amend any bookings at any time.
  • Pricing is subject to change without notice.
  • Deposit of first night is required to confirm bookings.
  • For Seashells owners - if a reservation is cancelled within 7 days of arrival (during off-peak periods) or 30 days (during peak periods) or in the event of a no show, your entitlement week will be forfeited.

Special Requests

  • Any special requests have been noted and we will endeavour to fulfil as many as possible. Please note that all requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

Security

  • While we do our best to maintain a safe environment, including security during busy times, Seashells Beachfront Resort takes no responsibility for any damage or loss incurred to your belongings during your stay. All guests are responsible for securing their valuables at all times, including: cars, trailers, caravans, bikes, scooters, fishing & surfing gear, eskies, clothes and beach towels on clothes lines and verandas.
  • Upon checkout please make sure that all windows and doors are locked

Vehicles /Trailers/ Boats

  • One car space is allocated per unit.
  • Additional parking is available near the office or up near the beach entrance.
  • All caravans I boats I trailers are required to be parked in the beach-end visitor carpark, with draw­bars facing out for easy removal & towing in case of emergency.
  • Please do not park or drive on any grassed areas.

After Hours Arrivals / Early Arrivals / Late Departures

  • After hours arrival keys can be located in the box on the front of the office. We will not leave your key out if you have any outstanding balances. Please call our office to let us know if you will be arriving late.
  • Early arrivals are welcome to enjoy our resort facilities until apartments become available. Late check outs are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge. Please speak to our office staff to organise late departure if you require.
  • If you are departing prior to the office opening, please place your key in the front office door slot.

Linen

All linen and towels are provided. However, you will need to bring your own beach towels.

Smoking

No smoking permitted in any of our rooms, on verandas, in our recreation room, swimming pool or BBQ areas. The entire property is non smoking from the 1st February 2024.

After hours call-outs

 

  • Please note a $75 call-out fee outside of office hours will apply to all lost keys, unit lockouts, minor maintenance calls and noise complaints emanating from your unit (all genuine emergency calls excepted).

 

Rubbish / Cleaning

  • Please place all rubbish in the bins provided prior to departure.
  • Please ensure that your unit is left in a tidy condition upon departure. An additional cleaning fee of up to $50 will be charged for units left in an untidy or dirty condition.

Damage to property

  • Any and all damages to Seashells property will be charge to the credit card provided upon check-in.

Loud Noise / Anti-social behaviour

  • Please be considerate of other guests staying in the resort at all times. We ask that you keep noise to a minimum after 10pm. Please do not hesitate to call our after-hours number at any time regarding unreasonable noise.
  • Seashells Beachfront Resort has a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive, offensive, anti-social or threatening behaviour directly or indirectly. It will not be tolerated at any time.

Bikes & scooters

  • Guests are welcome to ride their bikes/scooters around the resort. We ask that you do not ride on the verandas or in carparks. Helmets must be worn at all times. No helmet - no riding.

Children/ Under 18's

  • Parents are responsible for their children's behaviour at all times. All children must be under supervision while in the recreation room, gym & swimming pool areas.
  • Under 18's are not permitted in the adult only spa & billiards room. No exceptions.

In an emergency

  • Evacuation meeting points are located on the resort map.
  • We are equipped with a defibrillator in case of emergency.
  • In a life-threatening emergency call '000' for Fire, Police or Ambulance in the first instance, then notify office staff. For after-hours emergencies, notify after hours staff by calling the after-hours number, which can be located on the front of the office.

Discounts & Group Bookings

  • Group discounts will only be given if 10 or more units are booked and reservations are advised upon booking that it is a group booking. The group must allocate one main contact person.
  • Seasonal discounts may be offered during off peak periods, eg stay 7 pay 5. Only available from March 1st to October 31st and not available over school holidays or long weekends. *Discount offers may vary.
